The current corona virus SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has revealed a massive shortage of the required respiratory masks in Austria and worldwide. Procurement was sometimes extremely difficult or the number of protective masks required could not be provided temporarily, which meant that security of supply in Austria was no longer guaranteed. For this reason, an autonomous production of protective clothing is to be set up in Austria. After the project has been implemented, the company, and thus Austria too, will be able to produce protective masks independently and autonomously, completely independent of other nations.
