This product significantly reduces the amount of post-processing required in the production of CFRP components. The nonwoven increases the resin content on the surface, exactly where it is needed!
The result is a homogeneous resin layer without a disruptive third phase in the composite material. The use of MELPLA SE in the PREPREG or RTM process minimises pores and air pockets on the surface, reduces pinholes and increases the impact strength of the fabric.
